A Look Back On the Past Decade
The bet on myself.
After scaling a pharma startup to $100M annual revenue,
I launched my first podcast hoping it would open a door.
It opened a world. That same year I hosted my first live event, a marketing mastermind for entrepreneurs, and realized I was meant to build rooms, not just enter them.
Learning the language of capital.
I joined a fintech company as Head of Investor Relations to learn from the inside out how capital is raised, deployed, and won.

The community is born.
I hosted the first Women Only Experience — an evening of inspiration, connection, and dance. WOE became Atlanta's most dynamic gathering for female founders and planted the seed for everything SCC would become.
Taking a seat at the table.
I volunteered with an angel group and sat on the other side of the table for the first time, screening deals, evaluating founders, and understanding the power of that chair.

Keep going
The pivot that proved everything. While COVID disrupted, I responded by launching SCC and hosting a 3-day virtual conference. I had the best year in my business, ever. Adversity, it turns out, is just another word for opportunity.
Corporate venture, $100M.
I joined the world of corporate venture capital and helped launch a $100M fund, deploying early-stage capital into the companies shaping tomorrow and immersing myself in all things women's health.

Becoming a venture partner.
I joined an emerging venture fund as partner and helped take them to their first close. The vision was real. So was the work.
The White House, twice.
I was invited to speak alongside Jill Biden for the White House Women's Health Initiative. Later that year, I returned for the Women's History Month reception. The little girl with humble beginnings had arrived.
